Long Stem Wizard's Rook

Made from Italian briar with an 8.5" ebonite stem and acrylic band and carb. For this design, I tilted the stance to counterbalance the long stem and then brought the bowl face back to level. The partial sandblast texture fades to smooth and highlights the briar wood grain. The bowl face shows just a touch of the briar burl's plateaux live-edge. The calabash chamber in the body of the pipe cools and dries the smoke but also collects the resin so cleaning is easy.
